The warm timber interior features soaring ceilings, a wood burner for winter comfort, a spacious open-plan living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Wake each morning in a luxurious super-king bed dressed with premium natural linen, overlooking breath taking lake and mountain views.
The lodge offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite, quality bed linen and towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and access to outdoor living areas with stunning views. Guests also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, generous onsite parking, a sun terrace, and an outdoor fireplace.
Explore nearby native bush walking trails, local fishing spots, Kinloch Beach, and the Kinloch Marina, all just minutes away. Kinloch also has a general store and restaurant, while the new village shopping centre on Kinloch Road is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Taupō's vibrant restaurants, nightlife, and world-class attractions are only a 20-minute drive away.
Families are welcome, with a Springfree trampoline available for children. For safety reasons, children must be at least 9 years old. Bookings require at least one adult aged 25 years or older. Please note there are three steps to the entrance and no wheelchair ramp is available.
We kindly ask guests to respect our neighbours, as we enjoy an excellent relationship with our local community. Should you need assistance during your stay, we live nearby and our property manager lives next door.
To help protect our property, guests may be asked to provide references and verify their identity before arrival. This may include a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's licence or passport), a selfie for verification, a contact phone number, and an email address. Failure to provide the requested information may result in cancellation of the booking.

50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 days before arrival or earlier.
25% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 7 days before arrival or earlier.
0% refundable if canceled after.

No security deposit is due.

Children must be at least 9 yrs old. Children aged 9 -17 pay adult rates. There must be at least one adult over 25yrs old who passes ID verification. The maximum age is 80 yrs. You may only use a credit card.
